Exec 'molests' ex-colleague, lands in custody

THANE: A manager of a top company company has been arrested for allegedly stalking and molesting a former girl colleague of his.

A senior officer of the crime department of Thane police said that the accused, Abhishesh Kumar Sharma (38), a resident of Thane, and the lady previous labored at a company at Ghansoli in Navi Mumbai. This used to be before the lady got married.

In her grievance to the police, the lady has mentioned that Sharma had in the previous few months despatched her "obscene comments and lewd messages" on social media. A police officer said that the lady has also mentioned that the man, at times, compelled her to talk to him, but she selected to unnoticed that. Since she spurned his advances, he threatened to harm her and her family members, said a senior police legitimate, adding that he also despatched her threatening mails from other cell phone numbers.

A magistrate court docket in Thane has remanded Sharma in police custody for three days. The police have confiscated his cell phone.
