Ahmedabad: 2 sisters, woman cop in carnival tiff

AHMEDABAD: Three girls were fascinated with an altercation on Friday night time on the Kankaria Carnival, which began on December 25 and can end on December 31. One of them was once a police sub-inspector on accountability, Ok G Jalvani. As for the other two, Prakruti Chaudhary claimed to be an assistant commissioner of the tax division and her younger sister, Bhagyashree, said she was once a health care provider.
In the end, extra cops were summoned to the spot and the sisters — citizens of Gandhinagar — were taken to the Maninagar police station and booked for using abusive language and violating a notification of the police commissioner.

Jalvani as well as the sisters have lodged lawsuits. Jalvani has said in her FIR that while she was once clearing off a gaggle status on the parapet of the carnival venue, she got here throughout some medical doctors staring at a laser show as an alternative of being at their accountability station on the police medical camp.

The inspector of the Maninagar police station, M B Zala, said that after Jalvani requested them to move away, Prakruti Chaudhary said, “How dare you contact me! Do who I am?”


The FIR says that Chaudhary claimed she was once a tax division professional.


Zala said that Jalvani started filming Chaudhary and the latter threatened to shoot a video of Jalvani and upload it on social media. Soon, Chaudhary’s sister intervened.


Zala said that the sisters have submitted a non-cognizable complaint against Jalvani. “We are inquiring into the matter,” an professional said.
