I'm a rebel if telling truth is rebellion, says Shatrughan Sinha

ALLAHABAD: Actor and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Shatrughan Sinha took a dig at his personal birthday celebration, saying "Those people who'd promised the country to build a Ram temple are answerable to the public".

Singh was talking to journalists whilst he was on his technique to attend the Kisan Mahar rally organised through Apna Dal (Krishna Patel) faction in Chitrakoot on Wednesday.

"The party is answerable to people on the Ram temple issue. Those who had promised a temple to the country, should now face the public," he added. Singh stated that he was trying to show a replicate to BJP as a result of he was first a citizen of the country and then a birthday celebration worker. "I raise my voice for the people and to speak the truth. If that means rebellion, then I am a rebel," he added.

The BJP MP added that he has not been demanding a place for himself within the birthday celebration and his mission is to fight for the rights of the voters. "The truth is that neither is the party in a position to expel me nor can I leave the party," he added.
