Mangaluru: December 2018 may be a very powerful month in city-based photographer Vivek Sequeira’s profession and one he will cherish essentially the most. And why no longer? For he is the person in the back of the breathtaking photos Nita Ambani has posted on Instagram from her daughter Isha Ambani’s marriage ceremony with Anand Piramal.
Luxe Captures, the crew formed through Vivek and his industry spouse Shankar Katwe from Davanagere, was once some of the only two firms from India to cover the extravaganza that spanned two weeks, right from the home warming ceremony of the Piramals’ in Mumbai on December 2 and 3 to pre-wedding ceremonies in Udaipur on December eight and 9, the big fat marriage ceremony on December 12 and the grand receptions hosted through the two host families within the next two days.
“When I used to be in america overlaying a marriage in June, a mutual pal of the Piramals called me up and requested me to block my dates from December 1 – 15. I wasn’t advised whose marriage ceremony I used to be going to cover except that the event can be a life-changer. I couldn’t consider it when I realised just lately that I'd be overlaying the marriage of the decade,” Vivek advised TOI. While the Piramals had booked him for the marriage, Luxe Captures lined celebrations of both parties and Vivek mentioned he had lived his dream.
Interestingly, this is the first order Luxe Captures gained, and it came an afternoon after the firm was once launched at Frazer Town in Bengaluru. Vivek had until then been running Vivek Studio in Mangaluru, which is now being run through his brother Vinay Sequeira.
Vivek mentioned the crew has clicked no less than 1.20 lakh pictures in 15 days and is given a month’s time to furnish the photos and movies. “We have already finished part the work. We are assured of turning in our work smartly earlier than the closing date. It is for this goal that we had taken alongside 3 professional backend editors,” he mentioned. The remainder of the crew comprised six photographers, including Vivek and Shankar, six videographers and a drone operator.
Vivek dropped out of school on account of financial difficulties and labored as a petrol pump attendant to make ends meet. At a pal’s recommendation, he took to pictures and established Vivek Studio in 1997.
“Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikant, AR Rehman, Beyonce and Arijit Singh. I were given a possibility to see all of them from close vary and click them. I'm assured our work shall be smartly permitted,” Vivek mentioned.
