NAGPUR: A country is made through marking limitations and known through geographical features and bodily houses. But a country is product of the people who find themselves sure in a commonplace thread, said Chandrashekhar Dharmadhikari, former pass judgement on of the Bombay top courtroom, on Friday.

He was speaking at the inauguration of a two-day national conference on ‘Professional social paintings and sustainable building: Current issues’, organized through Maharashtra Association of Social Work Educators (MASWE) to mark its silver jubilee, at Dr Vasantrao Deshpande Hall.

Vice-chancellor of Raisoni University Rajan Welukar was in the chair while pro-vice-chancellor of Nagpur University Pramod Yeole was the executive visitor. Also provide had been Amandas Mohite, founding president of the organization and president Dr Deepak Walokar.

Dharmadhikari said, “India was fragmented as princely states had been ruling earlier than independence. However, the situation has no longer modified on anticipated lines even once you have freedom.”

Taking this point further, he said, “It is a real understatement that although we as a country stand united, there are some states which conflict with each and every others on various issues. May it's limitations or rivers, the respective governments don't seem to be able to upward push above politics. In reality, some leaders always keep the pot boiling especially in terms of sharing the waters of Ganga, Narmada or Cauvery rivers.”

Dharmadhikari appealed to social staff to absorb the demanding situations of resolving variations over language and casteism to expand a nationalistic perspective in the society. He urged that a uniform training device must be developed through policymakers so that there could be better figuring out of the subject matter.

Yeole said the development seen in the fields of science and generation hasn’t been replicated in society. “Research in lately’s age has been limited to getting degrees. But there is a want to do research in the box of social paintings, making it people-centric and highlighting issues which might be plaguing the neighborhood,” he added.

Welukar spoke about how firms lately are ready to predict the behavioural patterns of people on the foundation in their information collection.
