When contacted, TNAU vice-chancellor N Kumar stated the confusion used to be because of a human error while coming into the marks. "The personnel, who entered the marks, had made errors while entering it in the columns. It was brought to the knowledge of the controller of examinations. We have found it and rectified it. We have now re-entered the correct marks," he informed TOI.
Over the final a number of years, TNAU has been looking to introduce reforms in exam process. In October, the university conducted its first paperless examination the usage of digital examination pads in all its 42 affiliated establishments across the state on the similar time. The university had stated it brought-in such initiatives to make sure transparency and potency in exams.
