THANE: Woman killed, four injured in wall collapse after cylinder blast Thane (Maha), Dec 25 () A 55-year-old girl was killed and four others were injured when a wall of a space collapsed due to a gasoline cylinder blast in Maharashtra's Thane city on Tuesday, an official mentioned.
The cylinder exploded around nine.30 am in a single storey space in Panchpakhadi space following which one of its partitions collapsed on an adjacent space, Thane civic frame's regional crisis management cell leader Santosh Kadam mentioned.
Kantibai Wankhede, who resided in the adjacent space, suffered severe injuries in the wall collapse mishap. She was rushed to the civil health facility the place doctors declared her lifeless, he mentioned.
Besides, four occupants of the home during which the cylinder exploded, including two ladies and a 12-year-old boy, gained burn injuries and so they were undergoing treatment on the same health facility, he added.
