Over 11,000 candidates take JBT written test

CHANDIGARH: More than 11,400 candidates appeared within the written test for the recruitment of Junior Basic Teachers (JBTs) under Samagra Shiksha here on Sunday. As in step with the guidelines, approximately 53% candidates took the test. A complete of 21,578 candidates had applied for the posts.

The examination started at 10.30am and ended at 1pm at 43 examination centres in faculties and colleges the place jammers were installed in each and every magnificence at all of the centres.

The complete work related to the recruitment of JBTs used to be assigned to NITTTR, Sector 26, Chandigarh, while the examination centres were supplied through the UT education division and examination subject material and invigilators were organized through NITTTR. A complete of 15 IAS/PCS/HCS officials of the Chandigarh Administration were deputed as particular observers at more than a few test centres.
