PATNA: State shipping minister Santosh Kumar Nirala and secretary of the department Sanjay Kumar Agarwal introduced the state’s first-of-its-kind self-drive car condominium facility in Patna on Saturday. People can now rent a car of their selection for whatever period they would like for self-driving.
The shipping division has given licence to a personal firm ‘Zoomcar’ to supply this facility in Patna. “Anyone eager about renting a car can achieve this by means of using the app of the firm,” Agarwal mentioned. He added as of now 25 vehicles, including hatchbacks and SUVs, were available for rent in the city and more numbers can be added to the listing. On the first day of its release, four vehicles were rented in Patna.
Sharing the details of the carrier, Agarwal mentioned the vehicles will also be hired on hourly, day-to-day or monthly foundation for as much as three years. “Car rent will range depending on models. People will have to shed additional money for renting a car on weekends. A minimum Rs 45 per hour must be paid for a car rented without gas and Rs 70 per hour with gas. A car will also be rented for 6 months, 12 months, 24 months and 36 months. They have to pay a monthly subscription fee of minimum Rs 13,999 and most Rs 33,999 per month,” Agarwal added.
Manager of the automobile condominium company Anuj Kumar mentioned they would also get a hold of the choice of renting a car for per week. “If we get good reaction, we will also introduce high-end luxury vehicles,” he added.
For renting a car, a buyer has to first download the app and upload their Aadhaar card, using licence and photograph. These documents shall be verified ahead of turning in the automobile. Customers even have to present element of their requirement with time and date from when they are going to take the automobile and when they are going to go back.
Customers can either pick out the automobile from Saguna Mor administrative center of the company or get it delivered at their home, for which they've to pay an additional quantity of Rs 300.
