Sidda dares BJP on bid to topple Cong-JDS govt

BENGALURU: Former Karnataka leader minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Wednesday challenged the BJP to come blank on its alleged attempts to bribe his celebration MLAs to destabilise the coalition executive within the state.

The Congress leaders are locked in a struggle of attrition with the BJP ever because the ministry was once just lately expanded and reshuffled, amid studies that the saffron celebration was once involved with disgruntled MLAs who overlooked ministerial berths.

"I am not indulging in a blame game with the BJP in connection with attempts to bribe the MLAs. There is a basis behind the statement. Is it not true that they (BJP) made an offer to BC Patil? When the time is ripe, I will disclose a few more things," Siddaramaiah said in a tweet.

Two days ago, the leader of the Congress Legislature Party had alleged that the BJP had made a recent try to topple the Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition executive by way of providing Rs 25 to 30 crore to the legislators.


Rubbishing the fee, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president BS Yeddyurappa had requested Siddaramaiah to talk responsibly and provide evidence to back his fee.


Karnataka deputy leader minister G Parameshwara too had on Tuesday accused the BJP of creating a recent bid to topple the government, claiming that efforts have been underway to organize a meeting of his celebration's disgruntled MLAs with BJP president Amit Shah.


Parameshwara's fee had come amid studies that aggrieved Congress MLA, Ramesh Jarkiholi, who was once dropped from the ministry within the recent reshuffle, was once tenting in Delhi.


Jarkiholi, who claims to have the reinforce of an important selection of Congress MLAs, has remained incommunicado since he was once removed from the ministry.
