Teachers strike: Hundreds approach Madurai CEO

MADURAI: Several people thronged the place of work of the chief educational officer (CEO) in Madurai on Monday and submitted their applications for being appointed as temporary teaching team of workers in authorities and government-aided colleges within the district within the wake of an indefinite strike by means of teachers.
Sources within the CEO place of work mentioned they had received masses of applications till past due within the afternoon and were yet to consolidate the entire selection of resumes received.

It is also recalled that as several school teachers had now not reported for work since ultimate Tuesday due strike, the Tamil Nadu authorities mentioned that the temporary teachers could be appointed on a consolidated wage of Rs 10,000 per month.


Right from early within the morning, aspiring teachers began accumulating on the CEO place of work to put up their software.


There were confusions among the general public whether their applications could be permitted after news began circulating that there could be no appointment of the temporary teachers on Monday because it was once mentioned that the government would wait till night time to peer if teachers would surrender their protest and report to work. As a outcome, a handful had even returned without submitting their software. But after the officers began amassing the appliance, the crowd swelled.


The supply although they had accumulated the applications, they were yet to obtain any instruction concerning the appointment of teachers.
