100-feet-tall tricolour unfurled at Ambala Cantt railway station

AMBALA: City MP Ratan Lal Kataria on Tuesday unfurled a 100-feet-tall nationwide flag at Ambala Cantonment railway station premises. The tricolour has been installed underneath the plan of beautification of the railway station.
Kataria also inaugurated an ultra-modern toilet constructed at the cost of Rs 45 lakh the station premises.


The budget for the beautification of the railway station were supplied through the Ministry of Railways.


Kataria whilst interacting with journalists praised the Indian Air Force for launching airstrikes inside the Pakistani territory against a camp of Jaish-e-Mohammad.


“On this day, our army has taken revenge of Pulwama attack. Ambala is an important station and it is a ancient day when a 100-feet-tall nationwide flag is installed here on this day.”


Talking in regards to the beautification of the Ambala station, Kataria stated, “Indian Railways and french firms have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand Ambala and Ludhiana stations. After the crowning glory of the work, these stations would come within the world-class category.”
