Bharathiar University will get new vice-chancellor only after tenure of suspended VC ends, minister says
COIMBATORE: As former Bharathiar University vice-chancellor A Ganapathi, who was once arrested in reference to a graft case, has been best suspended and now not permanently removed from his put up, the next VC will be appointed best after his tenure ends, stated Tamil Nadu minister for higher training Okay P Anbalagan on Tuesday.
The minister was once chatting with journalists after attending the 35th convocation of Bharathiar University.
While the norms put down that the vice-chancellor search committee should be arrange six months ahead of the top of a VC’s tenure, the VC search committee has now not yet been fully arrange as Ganapathi’s tenure will end best in March.
