BSEB Class XII exam: 29 candidates expelled on Day 2

NEW DELHI: Altogether 29 examinees have been expelled for using unfair manner and 5 impersonators have been arrested on the second day of intermediate assessments (Class XII) of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) at 1,339 examination centres across the state on Thursday.

Of total barred scholars, four each instances have been reported from Nalanda, Nawada and Madhubani, 3 each in Buxar and Saharsa, two each in Rohtas, Samastipur and Sheikhpura and one each in Gaya, Madhepura, Katihar, Sitamarhi and Banka.

Three impersonators have been arrested at the examination centres in Nawada and two in Saharsa district.


In first sitting, five,60,781 scholars appeared for language papers including English, Bangla, Arabic, Hindi, Maghi, Maithili, Sanskrit and Persian whereas 1,669 scholars in computer science, 51 appeared in multimedia and web era and 731 scholars for foundation path appeared in the second sitting.


According to BSEB authentic, “No primary incident of copying or disruption of examination used to be reported from any examination centres in the state.”


Board chairman Anand Kishor visited a number of examination centres and himself frisked the students. He advised the invigilators that in the event that they did not discharge their duties strict action would be taken in opposition to the academics.


He added: “Examinations had been performed easily and peacefully with none untoward incidents.”
