JAIPUR: Having blocked the Delhi-Mumbai rail course for the previous six days, Gujjars on Wednesday also blocked the Sawai Madhopur-Jaipur rail course, on which the trains at the blocked Delhi-Mumbai course have been being diverted.
Seventeen trains at the Sawai Madhopur-Jaipur rail course had to be cancelled except the 14 trains at the Delhi-Mumbai remain cancelled since last Friday. The West Central railway and the North Western Railway even have had to divert 25 trains on these routes.
On Wednesday afternoon, no less than 300 protesters reached on the railway tracks passing through Choth Ka Barwada because of which passengers travelling to Jaipur via Sawai Madhopur, had to face inconvenience.
