Kanakasanan believes that folks will lose interest when artwork are in line with a selected theme, which in flip will affect the sale. "I retired from medical photography around 20 years ago, and ever since, I have shifted my focus to paintings. My style is time consuming and often it takes three days to complete one work," he stated.


The 75-year-old from Thiruvananthapuram additionally employs plenty of self-made techniques similar to the usage of taking part in playing cards for knife artwork and comb tips for including stroke results. Based on measurement, the price of artwork on sale ranges from Rs 1,000 to Rs 15,000. But, Kanakasanan is able for negotiations, as his happiness lies extra in seeing his artwork adorning partitions somewhat than the cash they could fetch.
