Jet Airways flight diverted to Chd after glitch

MUMBAI: A Jet Airways flight from Mumbai to Dehradun was once diverted to Chandigarh on Saturday morning after the plane advanced a technical drawback enroute.


Flight 9W 703 departed Mumbai airport at 6.10 am and was once minutes away from touchdown in Dehradun when the Boeing 737-800 plane (VT-JGW) was once diverted to Chandigarh. The plane descended up to about 8000 feet earlier than converting path and heading for the change airport the place it landed at 8.10 am. Dehradun’s Jolly Grant airport is at an elevation of about 2000 feet.


A Jet Airways spokesperson mentioned: "Jet Airways flight 9W 703 from Mumbai to Dehradun was once diverted to Chandigarh and has landed safely.


The diversion was once necessitated because of a technical explanation why and the diversion was once as per process." The spokesperson mentioned, "an alternate aircraft was arranged immediately for our guests with a revised departure time for their destination." He added that Jet's group of engineers along side material are travelling to Chandigarh for vital inspection and rectification of the plane.


"The incident is under investigation and has been reported to the authorities," the authentic mentioned.
