Rajkot: A man died after the flames from the girl he had set ablaze engulfed him in Lakshmi no Dhoro slum space on Kalawad Road in Rajkot on Wednesday evening.
While Ronak Parmar (31), a temple priest, succumbed to burn accidents, the girl, recognized as Purvi Parmar (30), is struggling with for her lifestyles in the burns ward of Rajkot Civil Hospital.
In her demise declaration, Purvi informed police that Ronak used to pressurize her to have an illicit courting with him.
Purvi alleged that Ronak have been pestering her for past one-and-half years. On Wednesday evening, he referred to as her up, threatening if she didn't flip up, he would come to her paintings position and create a scene. When Purvi went to Ronak’s scrap backyard, he took her to the temple, where he was once the priest and demanded sex from her.
“When Purvi didn't give in to his calls for, he poured kerosene over her and set her ablaze. It appears that Purvi grabbed him whilst she was once burning and that the jumping flames from her frame also engulfed him,” said an authentic from University police station.
While Ronak died at a non-public sanatorium in Rajkot, Purvi has been admitted to Rajkot Civil Hospital in a severely burnt condition.
