DHANBAD: A differently-abled girl was raped by a minor at Koranga basti of Dhaiya beneath Dhanbad police station house on Monday.
According to the written grievance filed by the survivor’s mom, the offender has been raping the woman for the final four months. “The survivor who's speech-impaired and is troubled with polio narrated the story to her mom. The offender threatened her of dire consequences if she revealed the matter to somebody,” a police office stated.
Police registered an FIR beneath segment 376 of IPC and arrested the offender. The survivor was sent to Patliputra Medical College Hospital for remedy. Mursy Tela Gudia, officer in-charge of ladies police station, stated, “A case has already been registered and suitable motion will be taken after we obtain the scientific file.”
