NRI murder: Niece denies influencing police probe

HYDERABAD: NRI businessman Chigurupati Jayaram’s niece Sikha Chowdary has denied influencing Krishna district police or some other company to bail herself out in her uncle’s homicide case. The 55-year-old NRI used to be discovered murdered and his body used to be discovered abandoned in a car on NH-65 last week.

“After I used to be known as for investigation, I totally cooperated with police. I have now not paid a single rupee to any policeman,’’ she instructed a vernacular news channel. “None of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders helped me in any respect,” she added. Sikha stated her uncle Jayaram had roped her into his companies at a time when his corporations weren't doing well. As she used to be getting involved in Jayaram’s companies, her aunt Padmasree took objection and in spite of that her uncle hired her, she stated.

“After knowing that Jayram used to be killed, I assumed is also he used to be killed for problems related to stocks in his companies or for some other factor. I by no means thought Jayaram used to be killed over a dispute of just Rs 4 crore,’’ she stated, claiming Jayaram’s life would have helped her develop and now not his demise.

Contrary to Sikha Choudhary’s claims, Jayaram’s spouse Padmasree alleged she suspects her niece’s hand in her husband’s homicide case. Speaking to a vernacular TV channel, Padmasree defined that Sikha had at all times been in war with her circle of relatives and alleged that she barged into their area and took away paperwork, claiming that they have been her ‘proper’. Padmasree also mentioned that she used to be unaware who Rakesh Reddy used to be and in addition believed that just Rs 4.7 crore could be the cause for the homicide.
