Residents clean parks in Greater Noida

GREATER NOIDA: With tendering for horticulture related cleanliness work of parks in Greater Noida still underway and expected by way of March subsequent month, residents of sector Beta 1 in Greater Noida undertook cleaning of 3 parks in block A and two parks of block B of the sphere on Wednesday. They plan to clean the C block park on Thursday.


“Charity starts at house – is the idea on which residents of sector Beta 1 introduced a cleanliness force throughout five parks of the sphere nowadays. Similar force will be performed in the C block park of the sphere on Thursday. For this, we now have asked all residents to ensure maximum participation as staff from horticulture department of Greater Noida Authority (GNIDA) will even give a contribution in opposition to the beautification of the parks,” stated Harinder Bhati resident of sector Beta 1.



According to Bhati, Greater Noida is one of the greenest cities in the country and it’s the duty of the citizens additionally to maintain its greenery. “These parks are used by us and our youngsters, hence it’s our duty along with GNIDA to ensure that they're clean,” stated Bhati.



In Wednesday’s cleanliness force residents below the banner of Active Citizens’ workforce picked up plastic, disposable tea/coffee cups, plates, wrappers of eatables as well as dry leaves and many others. “Tendering for the parks is underway and could be finalised by way of subsequent month. Till then we will continue cleaning of parks in a an identical way,” stated TP Mishra, assistant manager horticulture department GNIDA.
