GHAZIABAD: Three persons, including a house guard with Delhi Police, had been arrested on Tuesday night time for allegedly threatening and looking to abduct a journalist from Indirapuram.
The accused had been recognized as Ankur Parashar, from Harsh Vihar in Delhi, and Aadil and Shaban, both from Seelampur. Police stated Ankur is a house guard with Delhi police and he has a spa known as “Hi Spa” at Aditya Mall in Indirapuram. Shlok Kumar, SP, City of Ghaziabad, told IdealNews that the three had been arrested all the way through a routine test when they had been in search of the journalist.
“Soon after Ankit opened the spa, the journalist allegedly demanded money from him announcing the business used to be illegal. Ankur used to be already paying him Rs 20,000 a month,” Kumar stated.
“The journalist with a non-public information channel allegedly conducted a sting operation on the spa and Ankur paid him Rs 2.5 lakh in order that he didn't give the video to the channel. Ankit had borrowed the cash from anyone. When he did not pay off the mortgage, he planned to abduct the journalist and transparent his debt with the ransom,” Kumar stated. “He got his pals Aadil and Shaban to sign up for him.”
