Nagpur: Scrutiny of nomination papers for Lok Sabha polls was held under the supervision of district election officer and collector Ashwin Mudgal, and under election officer Shrikant Phadke in Ramtek.
* Nagpur: Six of 39 nominations rejected, 33 declared legitimate. Rejected papers come with Khushboo Belekar from Baliraja Party, Yogesh Jaiswal from Vishwashakti Party and impartial applicants Anandrao Khobragade, Mansoor Shende, Nilesh Mahadev and Krishnaraj Nimje.

* Ramtek: Three nominations rejected, 20 declared legitimate. Sachin Shende from People’s Party of India in Ramtek constituency withdrew his nomination papers with independents Gopal Tumane, Deepchand Shende and Meena Motghare.

* Chandrapur: 17 nomination papers declared legitimate and four rejected. Notices to eight applicants for violating laws.

* Gadchiroli-Chimur: Four nomination papers declared invalid, together with impartial Damodar Neware, Suvarna Warkhade from Gondwana Gantantra Party, Pawan Magare from Bahujan Samaj Party, and Diwakar Pendam from Bahujan Mukti Party.


* Bhandara-Gondia: 23 nomination papers found legitimate, 11 rejected. They included Anil Bawankar from Nationalist Congress Party, Dr Parinay Fuke from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Manohar Bisanjeet Matte from Bahujan Mukti Party.


* Wardha: No invalid packages


* Yavatmal-Washim: Seven nominations found invalid. 31 applicants left in the fray.
