MUZAFFARPURuzaffarpur/Bhagalpur: Armed miscreants looted over Rs43 lakh in two separate incidents in the state on Monday.
In Muzaffarpur, two bike-borne armed criminals allegedly snatched at gunpoint the bag containing Rs29 lakh from a Samastipur-based cash collection company employee near Madhaul Bridge beneath Turki outpost of the Kurhi police station space in the district round 2pm. The employee, Nirbhay Kumar, used to be happening his motorcycle to the Club Road branch of State Bank of India beneath Mithanpura police station of the city to deposit the cash gathered from Reliance petrol station at Madhaul beneath Turki OP.
SSP Manoj Kumar said, “Some other people were detained at the observation of Nirbhay. But I cannot expose the identity of the ones other people as Nirbhay’s observation seems dubious and we also are quizzing him.”
IG Nayyar Hasnain Khan said he used to be in my view taking a look into the matter. “I've asked the SSP to depute an SDPO-rank officer to analyze the case. He will lead the staff from Turhi OP,” he said.
An FIR has been lodged towards two named and a few nameless other people beneath other sections of IPC.
In another incident, armed criminals looted Rs14.29 lakh from the employees of Sai Baba LPG Agency located at KB Lal Road in Nathnagar at Bhagalpur round 11.00am. The incident befell near Sanskrit College beneath the University police station space.
Gas company supervisor Sanjay Kumar Lal and its employee Rajesh Kumar Sinha have been happening a two-wheeler to deposit the cash in the Bank of Baroda branch near Marwari Pathsala school. As they reached near Sanskrit College, a motorcycle dashed towards their two-wheeler. The gasoline company workers fell down and armed criminals snatched the bag stuffed with cash. City SP Sushant Kumar Saroj, DSP Rajvansh Singh and University police station SHO Omprakash Kumar have been investigating the case.
