BERHAMPUR: A 60-year-old man was on Wednesday arrested in a village in Ganjam district on the fees of raping a nine-year-old girl yesterday.
The accused was recognized as Bipra Mohanty. He has been produced in courtroom, police stated.
The accused allegedly raped the woman when she was looking at television in his space. Nobody else was present in the home then, police sources stated.
The incident got here to gentle when the woman complained of illness and pointed to injury marks on her frame. Both the accused and lady had been medically tested, police sources stated.
