AAP announces names of candidates for 3 seats

PATNA: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) headed by means of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday introduced names of its applicants for three Lok Sabha seats in Bihar – Kishanganj, Sitamarhi and Bhagalpur. The birthday party has, then again, no longer made its stand transparent at the choice of seats it has deliberate to contest within the state.

AAP’s Bihar incharge and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh told IdealNews that Alimuddin Ansari will contest from Muslim ruled Kishanganj constituency, Raghunath Kumar from Sitamarhi and Satyendra Kumar from Bhagalpur.

The applicants had been decided on by means of the birthday party’s political views committee. AAP had contested 39 of 40 Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar within the ultimate normal election held in 2014. However, the birthday party is not in a mood to contest on all seats this time.

“Security deposits of lots of our applicants had been forfeited within the ultimate normal election. This time, we've determined to fight the elections with complete power on decided on seats simplest,” Sanjay stated.

AAP’s further incharge for Bihar Asutosh Singh Sengar stated a meeting could be held in Patna on Thursday to take a final determination in regards to the choice of seats the birthday party will contest within the state.

Since the ultimate date for filing of nomination papers for the first and 2nd levels is March 25 and 26, respectively, it's certain that AAP won't contest on a minimum of seven seats within the state – Nawada, Jamui, Gaya, Aurangabad, Katihar, Purnia and Banka. These constituencies will pass to polls in first and 2nd levels.

Asked about AAP combating Lok Sabha election alone within the state in spite of Kejriwal’s excellent equation with Grand Alliance leaders, Sanjay stated, “In Bihar, we will be able to fight alone. However, our agenda is to defeat NDA. This is the explanation why we've determined not to contest on all seats within the state.”
