KOLLAM (KERALA): Spiritualist Mata Amritanandamayi has been conferred with an honorary doctorate of letters via the Mysore University for her contribution to non secular education and social work.
The D Litt used to be conferred on her via the college Vice-Chancellor G Hemantha Kumar at a function here Saturday.
Union minister of state for Health and Family Welfare Ashwani Kumar Choubey used to be among the ones provide on the function held at the Amritapuri ashram premises.
Speaking at the occasion, Amritanandamayi said there used to be a need to ensure that instructional analysis and science remained rooted in non secular values similar to truth, righteousness and compassionate carrier to the poor.
