KOLKATA: Calcutta Public School (CPS), Kalikapur, celebrated its silver jubilee with an inter-school fancy dress pageant, 'Deguise'. The tournament was once attended through CPS Kalikapur most important Proma Das, secretary Tathagata Das and the principals of the taking part faculties. Actor June Malia was once the chief guest. Malia stated, "As parents, guide your children and discover and nurture their talents. Every child is different. Do not burden them with expectations beyond their capabilities let them live their dreams."
Deguise began with a contest of toddlers dressed up as cool animated film, mythological and nursery rhymes characters. Students from upper categories portrayed issues like Indian dance paperwork, unfashionable taste and Christmas party at the ramp. Participants from CPS Bidhan Park displayed the colours of Indian seasons with the falling leaves, snowy winters, drizzly monsoons and blooming springs via their stroll. Daffodil House of CPS, Kalikapur, staged a display highlighting social evils like dowry system and home violence.
The day ended with prize distribution through the chief guest.
