VARANASI: Hours prior to folks singer-dancer Sapna Chaudhary issued a denial, pronouncing she has no longer joined Congress, BJP MLA from Bairia in Ballia district Surendra Singh kicked off an issue on Sunday pronouncing that former AICC president Sonia Gandhi and Chaudhary are from the similar career. He also advised AICC president Rahul Gandhi to marry the degree performer.
Singh gave the observation to journalists who sought his response at the news of Sapna becoming a member of Congress. A video of his observation went viral on social media.
“Rahul ji apne kul-parampara ko aagey badhayein, ye achchhi baat hai. Mata ji bhi Italy mein isi peshe se thi, aur aaj phir inhone Sapna ko apna bana liya (It is good that Rahul is wearing ahead his circle of relatives custom. His mother used to be also in same career in Italy, and lately he inducted Sapna,” Singh said.
When contacted over telephone, Singh said, “By inducting Sapna into Congress, Rahul goes to play a new political innings. But, it received’t paintings as folks salute Modi’s paintings. Entry of a nartaki (dancer) will make no difference.”
“Mein dhanyavad doonga Rahul ji ko ki jaise apke pitaji ne Sonia ji ko apna bana liya, aap bhi Sapna ko apna bana kar apni rajniti ki shuruat karein. Iske liye apko sadhuvad, (I would like to thank Rahul if the way in which his father authorised Sonia ji, he too, will have to settle for Sapna and begin his political innings),” he said.
Singh is known for making arguable remarks. Recently, he focused BSP supremo Mayawati pronouncing she get facial achieved every day and colours her hair. His remarks came after Mayawati had hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on ‘chowkidar’ tag.
In the past also, he had termed Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as ‘Ravana’ and ‘Surpanakha’ following Priyanka’s access into lively politics and being made east UP in-charge.
