NOIDA: A Chijjarsi resident was once arrested from near NH-24 reverse Sector 62 on Thursday within the abduction and murder case of an 11-year-old boy.
Police said that Mansoor Alam (26) killed the boy, Farmaan, with a razor..
Farmaan went missing from Chijjarsi in Sector 63 on February 24 and his half-decomposed frame was once found in a drain in Kala Pathar area of Indirapuram two days later.
His father Iliyaas said that while the child went missing at the night of February 24, he approached the police chowki on February 25 after which the next day to come, asking them to search for Farmaan.
The family has alleged negligence at the a part of Phase III police, pronouncing that they not on time action and requested them to search for the boy themselves. The SSP has initiated an inquiry into the topic.
Farmaan’s frame was once found on February 26 evening while his family members learnt about it on March 1 once they went to Indirapuram police station and was once requested to identify the frame.
Police said that Mansoor killed the boy because he was once in love with his elder sister, who didn't reciprocate it.
Phase III SHO Akhilesh Tripathi said, “He has claimed that he cherished Farmaan’s elder sister, who was once unaware about his emotions and didn't reciprocate them. Mansoor would spend money to delight the boy. Farmaan would sometimes spend time in his house. He even told Mansoor that his sister cherished him but that was once no longer true. So, Mansoor began feeling cheated.”
