GURUGRAM: The Gurugram police on Wednesday tightened safety in public places like markets and department shops and safety power institutions following intelligence stories of imaginable terror moves.
Newly-appointed police commissioner Mohamad Akil has directed his officials to deploy additional safety power in those places in addition to business hubs and spots frequented by tourists following the inputs.
"We have received intelligence inputs that Pakistan-sponsored terrorists may target certain places. We have deployed Quick Response Teams along with personnel from police stations concerned at these locations. We have also urged the people to alert the security personnel about any suspicious activity without any hesitation," he said.
