SURAT: A surveyor in belongings review division of Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) used to be sentenced to two years jail via a distinct courtroom right here on Monday. The accused used to be caught accepting bribe of Rs 700 in 2006 for shifting belongings to the new owner.
Dilip Presswala used to be convicted under more than a few sections of Prevention of Corruption Act and sentenced to two years. He used to be caught taking bribe from the complainant. He used to be fined Rs 500 and if he fails to pay it he's going to get one month further jail.
