Gorakhpur: Bhojpuri actor and BJP candidate from Gorakhpur Ravi Kishan began his ballot marketing campaign with a massive highway show starting off from Gorakhnath temple on Thursday. Before the street show he offred prayers on the temple and sought blessings of Baba Gorakhnath for mandate to win the election at the top stake seat, represented earlier for 5 consecutive term between 1998 to 2017 by CM Yogi Adityanath.
While speaking to journalists, Ravi Kishan took a jibe on the opposition parties with his famous dialogue, “Virodhiyan ke jindagi jhand ba phir bhi ghamand ba (Life of opposition is at doom however still they show ego) and Ee Modi ji ka sunami ba (This is Modi wava) and we’ll be victorious with more than 73 seats and with the blessings of Baba Gorakhnath we’ll sign in victory at Gorakhpur seat with record votes.” As his automotive moved throughout the crowded streets, a sadhu climbed atop his car flashing Lord Shiva’s trishool (triponge) with a live snake and taking part in damroo to attract attention even as the actor stored waving to crowd inquiring for them to lend a hand him win pronouncing Yogi Ji had given him blessings to contest on his seat.
