VIJAYAPURA: After house minister MB Patil slammed his cupboard colleague DK Shivakumar for apologising over the arguable factor of challenging a separate religion for the Lingayats, the minister’s followers attempted to browbeat BJP MLA AS Patil, aka Nadahalli, raking up the same topic on Saturday.
Even as Nadahalli was addressing the media, supporters of Patil and those from the Lingayat committee, searching for a separate identification for the group, gheraoed him at a non-public resort. They shouted slogans against him before police rushed in and whisked them away.
