KOLKATA: A 15-year-old lady from Behala’s Parnasree was once discovered dead below mysterious circumstances on Monday morning. According to the police, the teenager committed suicide via leaping into a waterbody near her space in Rabindra Nagar.
Chumki Mistri, a Class-X scholar, reportedly left her space disillusioned after being rebuked via her mother. “On Sunday, her mother discovered her slicing vegetables for dinner on the bed and scolded her for being negligent and soiling the sheets. The lady began crying and left the house. When she didn’t return even after a long time, her members of the family and neighbours went looking for her. Finally, around 12.45am, locals noticed her within the local Rabindra Nagar pond. A crisis control crew rescued her and took her to Vidyasagar Hospital where Mistri was once declared introduced dead,” stated an officer.
Police stated, so far, it didn’t appear to be a homicidal or unintended death. “We have despatched the frame for autopsy and are ascertaining the exact reason behind death,” stated an officer, including that no exterior damage was once discovered on the frame. Parnasree police have began an inquest.
