The controversy over Makkal Needhi Maiam founder Kamal Haasan’s ‘Hindu terrorist’ commentary took a violent turn on Thursday when stones and eggs have been hurled in opposition to him from the gang right through a marketing campaign assembly at Velayuthampalayam in Aravakurichi constituency. The actor escaped unhurt and two males who hurled the stones aimed toward him have been picked up by means of police.
