SURAT: The vandalism at a town mall to break rangoli of Deepika Padukone's glance in latest Bollywood movie Padmavati has now pressured the artist to change his plan. Karan Jariwala, an Ayurveda medical scholar, is now making rangoli of Alina Mallik, Deepika's glance in Race 2.
"I am now making rangoli of Deepika's looks in movie Race 2. I am no more making rangoli of Deepika as Padmavati after the vandalism. I am shocked and feeling threatened the way my hard work was destroyed," stated Jariwala.
Meanwhile, Deepika posted a tweet on her legitimate care for on Wednesday and tagged Smriti Irani, Union minister of textile, data and broadcasting, "This has to stop now and action must be taken! @Smritiirani" at the side of two pictures of Jariwala making the rangoli and the scene after it used to be destroyed on Sunday closing.
Taking a major word of the incident Deepika tweeted overall 4 times posting the two pictures in all tweets on Wednesday. "Absolutely heart breaking to see the recent attack on artist Karan and his artwork! Disgusting and appalling to say the least!" used to be her first tweet of the day.
She later persisted tweeting, "Who are these people? Who is responsible for their actions? For how long are we going to let this go on?" and "Allow them to take law into their own hands and attack our freedom and right to individual expression time and again?"
The rangoli used to be destroyed via some unidentified teams to sign up their protest towards the movie Padmavati.
