Belagavi: A 52-year-old professor of an engineering college allegedly committed suicide by striking himself to a hook in the ceiling at his place of dwelling in Sadashiv Nagar right here in the wee hours of Tuesday.
Police stated Ravikiran Bhaskar Gadag was suffering from serious knee pain and different diseases. Wife of deceased found the body striking when she went to the room to wake him up at 7am.
Ravikiran was operating in KLE Society's Dr MS Sheshagiri College of Engineering and Technology. Appanagouda Patil, his better half's father, registered a grievance in APMC police station.
