Noida: Radisson, Mosaic get notices over parking on main roads

NOIDA: Seeking a response on parking of cars arriving at the Radisson Blu and the Mosaic lodge at the primary street, the visitors police has issued notices to the two lodges asking them to elucidate what arrangements they've for parking of cars of their premises.

Traffic police officers say that the notices were issued on Monday a few days after a pressure to test the illegal parking used to be carried out in Sector 18.

Members of the Sector 18 market association have on the other hand identified that the foundation reason for the problem is that the Noida Authority has now not defined the particular lanes and spots in Sector 18 market where two contractors are working parking lots.

The notices have also sought clarity at the parking arrangements within the premises of the two lodges.

Pandey mentioned that upon checking the parking facility allowed by the Noida Authority, it used to be found that while parking is allowed at the lane reverse to front of Radisson Blu, it used to be going at the lane abutting the doorway too- which is not an authorized spot for parking.

Similarly, parking used to be mandated within the Silver Archade close to the Mosaic lodge however now not at the street abutting the doorway. Mosaic also does now not have an underground parking, he mentioned.


When contacted, JP Sharma, liasoning officer, Mosaic lodge instructed TOI that they have got replied to the notice announcing that the lodge has an settlement with the contractor who has were given a contract for parking in Sector 18 house by the Noida Authority. "We are paying him a fixed amount on monthly basis," he mentioned.


Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Radisson Blu mentioned that the lodge has now not gained any notice from the visitors police. "Thus can't comment on this matter. We are totally compliant with respect to local notifications by related authorities," read a remark from Mosaic.


Pandey on the other hand mentioned that officials from the lodge had met him individually in his workplace and a copy of the notice used to be passed over to them.
