BSP is now Bahujan Samajwadi Party: Keshav Prasad Maurya

ALLAHABAD: Hitting out towards the Bahujan Samaj Party for extending reinforce to the Samajwadi Party candidates within the forthcoming state by-elections, Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya stated the Mayawati-led birthday celebration had turned into Bahujan Samajwadi Party after the opting for the electoral association.

Addressing a public meeting in Allahabad on Friday, Maurya asked the BSP chief to tell the general public about her explanation why for extending reinforce to SP when she herself had given the slogan ' char gundo ki chhati par-mohar lagegi hathi par' all the way through the 2007 state meeting polls.

Maurya stated, "Mayawati should explain if the goons against whom she had launched a fight in 2007 have now become gentlemen. If it's so, then she must show evidence or proof (for the same)."

Claiming that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would wipe out its rivals within the Gorakhpur and Phulpur byelections, the deputy chief minister stated the birthday celebration's victory within the forthcoming bypolls would set the basis of a profitable streak for the 2019 parliamentary polls. "BJP would win all the 80 seats in the 2019 parliamentary polls."

"People of the state are going to lock the ' baksa' ( BSP, Congress and SP) in the bypolls." He stated the birthday celebration's candidate for the Phulpur bypoll Kaushlendra Singh Patel would register a win with a massive margin. "In 2014 parliamentary polls, BJP got 53% votes but this time the polling percentage would increase. Even if BSP joins hands with SP, Congress and even Independent candidate Atiq Ahmad, they would never be able to defeat BJP," stated Maurya.
