Mangaluru: A bunch of fogeys of scholars on the Government Higher Primary School in Talittanooji, Bantwal has brightened up the school partitions with Warli artwork artwork. The two-decade-old college in a far flung village close to Manchi has 79 students in classes 1 to 8.

Sasikanth, a senior instructor of the school, stated the School Development and Monitoring Committee (SDMC) planned to embellish the school. “The zilla panchayat had given a grant to paint all of the college for the two-decade party. However, we weren’t pleased with just commonplace painting but wanted to peer our school more stunning and attractive. That’s when decorating the partitions with Warli artwork got here to thoughts,” he stated.


“Everybody agreed to the proposal and we roped in a renowned Warli artist who drew the outline on the partitions. The bills were borne by means of the lecturers. When the query arose who would fill within the outlines with paint, the fogeys of our children volunteered for it.
