Rera’s first hearing in Gurgaon on March 27

Gurgaon: Around two months after opening its place of job in Gurgaon, Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Hrera) is going to start its grievance redress process via conserving the first hearing of complaints on March 27.
The authority will cling hearing from Tuesday to Thursday each and every week, in keeping with assets.

Till now, the true estate regulator has registered 99 complaints — most commonly related to extend in possession — submitted via homebuyers, which might be taken up for hearing in stages. In the first hearing, complaints on registration of real estate projects might be taken up. “The second hearing might be organised within the first week of April,” said Hrera (Gurgaon) chairman KK Khandelwal, adding that they'd absorb buyers’ complaints on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Monday is reserved for preparation of the hearing, and on Saturday they'll upload the choices taken within the hearing in that week.

Hrera, Gugaon, turned into practical on February 5 after 75 complaints were submitted via homebuyers in Panchkula. Of the 75 complaints, 9 complaints were in correct format, while closing 66 complaints were returned to the buyers, asking them to report them within the prescribed format. In Gurgaon, Hrera has received 90 complaints since February 5.


“A total of 99 complaints of buyers, which have been in correct format, were registered and notices were issued to respondents concerned,” said Khandelwal, adding that they'd absorb 10-15 complaints in a single hearing.


Elaborating on submitting of complaints, Khandelwal said complainants should sign in their grievances on the authority’s website earlier than submitting the similar to it in a prescribed format. “After registering a criticism on the website, a complainant should report it earlier than the authority in person with list of dates, brief facts, issues to be decided, relief sought and affidavit,” Khandelwal said, adding that the criticism would get a registration quantity. A criticism might be taken up for hearing within the serial order of registration numbers.


Hrera had promised to decide on a criticism in 60 days. “We will decide on the case in 60 days of its hearing,” said Khandelwal. He also said notices would be sent to respondents withiin 21 days of hearing. The respondents should report replies on facts alleged via complainants, relief sought, any additional facts of their knowledge and another submission they have got to make in conjunction with evidence.
