Businessman, 65, dies after ambulance hits two-wheeler

CHENNAI: A 65-year-old guy died on Friday after his two-wheeler was once knocked down by way of an ambulance near Madhavaram. The deceased was once identified as Bhoopathi, a real property businessman residing in Nethaji Nagar.
On Friday, around 10.30am, Bhoopathi was once returning home after visiting a relative when he met with the accident near the roundabout off Madhavaram Main Road, the police mentioned.

Bhoopathi was once thrown off his motorbike within the affect and suffered grievous accidents. The police added that the 108 ambulance was once now not wearing any affected person on the time.


Passersby rushed to Bhoopathi’s help and moved him to a private health center close by. He was once then moved to the Government Stanley Hospital where he succumbed to his accidents later the same day. The Madhavaram traffic investigation wing registered a case and are investigating.


Police sources mentioned the ambulance driver was once now not at fault.


Preliminary investigations revealed that Boopathi crossed the road within the mistaken path ensuing within the accident, an investigating officer mentioned.
