Metro card will be common ticket for all DTC buses by April-end

NEW DELHI: By the top of April, commuters within the capital would be capable of use their Delhi Metro sensible playing cards to go back and forth in all Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and Cluster scheme buses.

In January, Delhi joined the ranks of London, Hong Kong and Singapore with the release of its personal not unusual mobility card, which can be used to go back and forth each within the Delhi Metro as well as public delivery buses. However, the power was available simplest on 250 buses, 200 buses of DTC and 50 of Cluster scheme.


“The paintings is on to extend the power in all buses of Delhi and we are very hopeful that via the top of April, it could be achieved,” said a delivery department legit. “We are within the technique of shopping Secure Access Module (SAM) chips, which Electronic Ticketing Machines (ETMs) within the buses could be provided with. In January, CM Arvind Kejriwal had said that the power could be available via April 1.
