Dhankar announces ex-gratia for Dadri accident victims

ROHTAK: A day after 5 persons, together with 3 schoolchildren, had been killed in an twist of fate in Charkhi Dadri after a school bus collided with a speeding truck, Haryana agriculture minister Om Prakash Dhankar on Tuesday visited the injured and announced compensation for the sufferers.

While visiting the injured on the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak, Dhankar announced an ex-gratia of Rs 1 lakh to the circle of relatives of deceased and Rs 50,000 to each and every to these injured.


Meanwhile, the Charkhi Dadri government woke up after the lack of blameless lives and ordered a thorough checking of personal faculty buses enjoying on street ferrying scholars.


Bhiwani-Mahendergarh MP Dharambir Singh condemned his executive and mentioned that it was unfortunate that the district-level clinic didn't have docs and basic amenities.


He claimed that he had written to the state health department about offering team of workers to the Dadri civil clinic 10 days ago, but no cognizance was taken.


Dadri deputy commissioner Ajay Singh Tomar mentioned the school bus that was ferrying the students on the time of twist of fate didn't have speed governor put in and lacked in norms laid down for varsity buses.
