KORAPUT: A 35-year-old farmer sustained critical accidents in an impoverished explosive instrument (IED) blast close to Kandikigurha village under Boipariguda police station on Wednesday, five days after the Red rebels broken a highway within the house in a landmine blast.
The injured individual, Gupta Pradhan of Ramagiri, used to be admitted to Boipariguda health facility and shifted to a private health facility in Jeypore when his situation deteriorated.
The incident happened round 1 pm when Pradhan used to be on his means home from Dandabadi on his bike. "The explosives wrapped in a bag were lying unattended on the roadside. The explosion took place while Pradhan was trying to open the bag to check it. He received serious injuries," mentioned Hemant Pradhan, a Ramagiri resident.
