AHMEDABAD: A special CBI courtroom on Saturday started listening to at the discharge application filed through retired cop N Ok Amin within the 2004 Ishrat Jahan encounter case.
Amin dubbed the CBI probe in this case as "bogus", and claimed that IPS officer Satish Verma had manipulated evidence. Amin also submitted that a police inspector with the city crime branch, I Ok Chauhan's involvement used to be visual within the incident, however the investigators wrongly chose to make him a witness. He asserted that the shootout used to be genuine. tnn
