Pregnancy from rape: 2 suspects leave police in a fix

Tirupur: The Tirupur rural police have booked a rape case against an unidentified person for impregnating a 31-year-old girl with finding out difficulties near Madathukulam right here on Thursday. This is in spite of the sufferer’s mother naming their 45-year-old neighbour as an accused within the complaint.

The police said there were two suspects within the case and that they are going to seek the judiciary’s intervention to conduct a DNA test to determine the wrongdoer.


The sufferer’s father had died a few years in the past. “The sufferer used to take goats they rear for grazing after her mother, who's an agricultural labour, leaves for work. Three months in the past, the sufferer fell in poor health and she or he was taken to a personal clinic, where medical doctors found she was 4 months pregnant,” the officer said.


Her mother recently lodged a complaint against a neighbour for impregnating her daughter. The preliminary investigation found that the sufferer used to visit the neighbour’s house for gazing tv. The police also found that the sufferer was often accompanied via a 55-year-old guy while grazing goats. tnn
