BENGALURU: Two brothers were electrocuted while they were working of their coconut farm in Dasenahalli village in the outskirts of Bengaluru on Sunday afternoon after an overhead electrical cord snapped and fell on them.
The incident led to a massive protest at BESCOM workplace in the house.
Soladevanahalli police stated Muniraju H (21) and Ravi Kumar H (18) both were residents of Dasenahalli and sons of farmer Hanumanathaiah.
The youths were reducing grass of their farm when a frond from one of the most coconut fingers fell on the electrical wires passing over their farm. The cord snapped. Kumar came to touch with the are living cord, whilst his brother rushed to save him. The duo were electrocuted an died straight away.
