MYSURU: JD(S) candidate from South Teachers' constituency Marithibbegowda on Saturday steered the teacher-voters to cast their vote without fail on June eight.
The deputy chairman of the Legislative Council also launched a booklet containing his achievements all through his 3 terms spanning 18 years. He is again searching for re-election for the fourth term. In the booklet, he has listed out his priorities and objectives in which he has promised to end pay disparity, one special allowance and to make sure that salary is credited on first of each month.

Appreciating the paintings and efforts of Marithibbegowda as MLC, Swaraj India Convener Shabbir Mustafa lauded Marithibbegowda for bringing out the booklet detailing his achievements.

Earlier, North-West Teachers' constituency legislator Arun Shahapur said that the JD(S)-Congress coalition government was once in a state of coma and they've omitted the training sector. Arun, a BJP chief, batted for B Niranjana Murthy, the BJP candidate searching for election from South Teachers' constituency.

MLA GT Devegowda bats for Marithibbegowda


MLA G T Devegowda said the problems in training division might be resolved if JD(S) candidate Marithibbegowda wins the South Teachers' constituency election.


During a JD(S) workers' meeting at Jayamma Govindhegowda Kalyana Mantap on Saturday, Devegowda said as celebration chief H D Kumaraswamy is the executive minister, if Marithibbegowda wins the election, he can paintings for the welfare of the teachers and unravel all of the problems which is troubling them.


"JD(S) party workers must request voters to give first preference to Marithibbegowda. He has won the MLC seat three times and also served as deputy chairman of the Council," he said.
